Vetriccie

Vetriccie

White

2020 Vetriccie Bianco

Suavely French, Zestily Italian

Corsica Is a land of contrasts. Mountains jostle the Mediterranean; France and Italian culture come together, viz this absurdly underpriced white. Vermentino and Chardonnay. is a blend of Italian and French varieties. Grown between mountain and sea, It's

For aperitif, salads, shelled or finned fish, goat cheese.

2020 Jo Landron Muscadet Amphibolite

"Relaxed and Invigorating"

So said the Revue du Vin de France. It was 'Love at first taste 'for them, Us too. This latest release from the magnificently mustachioed master of Muscadet is a sure pleaser, fleshy enough to satisfy those who want a rich palate, with a nutty acidity that will pair with anything from river or ocean. With the scarcity of Sancerre, think as the French do, go downriver to Muscadet.

2020 Jo Landron Muscadet Amphibolite; Aroma: Reserved to start, clean light acid; Mouth: Rounded fruit, citrus, and saline light barrel, and earth notes, ripe, rounded acid on a long finish; Very Good Plus 18.99 Case, 15.99

2020 Haarmeyer Chenin Blanc SRV Sutter Ranch St. Rey

Fruit and Sole

Chenin Blanc is coming into its own. This one is much rounder than Loire valley versions. In California's Clarksburg, the Haarmeyer family picks for optimum balance between acidity, sweetness, flavor, and phenolic ripeness. Little sulfur and natural yeast. They even gently foot-tread the grape. In 2020 they got a soulful wine with voluptuous peach fruit nicely framed by vibrant acidity. Refreshing by itself, it will go with salads, white meats, fish, and spicy Asian dishes

2020 Haarmeyer Chenin Blanc SRV Sutter Ranch St. ReyOrganic; Color: very light, clean, pretty; Mouth: fleshy, bright acid, very lush & peachy, good finish; Very Good Plus 18.99; Case, 15.99

Rose

2021 Domaine la Blaque Pierrevert Rose

Fragrant and fresh

Domaine La Blaque From a tiny high-altitude part of Provence, this is a leaner, crisper livelier Roses, made by adding Vermentino to a base of Cinsault and subjecting them to an extended cool maceration and fermentation. It spoke to us. It is lively and exciting, with more finesse than most we have tasted. Piquant and a palate enlivening acidity.

2021 Domaine la Blaque Pierrevert RoseOrganic- Biodynamic; Color: light rose; Aroma: clean pretty, very fresh, elegant, fresh, pretty, nice mineral and acid; Mouth: rich rounded fleshy, very nice spicy, fruity, good weight, and breadth of fruit, very bright, very clean peach notes; Very Good Plus 19.99; Case, 16.99
