Tasty Weekday Wines
The 2015 Masseria Li Veli Primonero was the clear favorite last week. people agreed with Peter's notes below and thought it had a lot of substance and character for a very low price.

Otherwise people's choices depended on taste and style. The white 2016 Daguet Sauvignon Blanc and red 2015 Stephane Aviron Beaujolais Villages were both light and pretty. One taster said, accurately in our unbiased opinion, that the beaujolais was eactly what Beaujolais should be. Drink lightly chilled.
The Sables Fauves and Felines Jourdan Picpoul de Pinet are both wines of distinctive flavors and spice. They intrigued some people but did not others.
Quite a few people liked the 2015 Ch. Memoires Bordeaux, an excellent harbinger of what that highly praised vintage will bring in Bordeaux. we have about a case left.
