2019 Ch Vaisinerie Puisseguin St. Emilion
This would be much more expensive if it were just over the border in Sant Emilion proper. The previous vintage was clean and higher-toned with mouthwatering acidity. 2019 is an even richer vintage. Great value at the price. $19.99, Special Prearrival $15.99
2019 Prieure de Beyzac Haut Medoc
"a really lovely bouquet of perfumed red cherries and wild strawberry and well-integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, pinpoint acidity, and great precision toward the finish. This is one of the outstanding Cru Bourgeois of the vintage. Absolutely superb." Neal Martin, Vinous

2015 Chateau Cap de Faugeres Castillon
a gorgeous entry-level wine from [the proprietor of Peby Faugeres and Lafaurie-Peyraguey]. Pliant, succulent and inviting, it possesses striking fruit density and balance, especially at this level. 2016 Ch. Peyrabon Haut Medoc
"tightly wound and quite floral on the nose of wilted rose petals, red berry fruit and unfurling light woodland scents. The palate is medium-bodied with light but quite pliant tannins that frame the soy-tinged red fruit, leading to a peppery finish. Thoroughly enjoyable."
