We welcomed store alum John Frishkopf for a spirited evening as he introduced Klocke Estate Distillery. The Estate, both restaurant and distillery, offers both fine dining and farm-to-bottle spirits. Sitting atop a scenic hillside overlooking the Hudson, Klocke Estate boasts 60 acres of organic orchards and vineyards, refined into very limited brandies in the style of cognac and calvados.
If hipper, trendier tastes need satisfying, we will be sampling their range of vermouths, including the proverbial, yet ironic, black sheep that is the rarely seen white vermouth. All are crafted for whatever magic behind the bar you are looking to perform.
Apple Brandies

Distilled in a traditional Cognac-style Alembic Charentais still from Hudson Valley apples, and matured in French oak casks, Referent is a carefully composed blend that reveals remarkable depth and elegance. 42% abv
