Dark Arts Bourbon
It's in the wood.

With Father’s Day approaching, we are proud to present Dark Arts – ace blender Macauley Minton's award-winning whiskey brand. We are happy to welcome whiskey expert David Goudreau of Heavenly Spirits to present their core bourbons and rye.
Macauley Minton made Wilderness Trail one of the more sought-after brands and then became the guiding spirit of Dark Arts. Macauley has long-standing relationships with the best contract-distilling manufacturers in Indiana and Kentucky and defines himself by the excellence of his blending and barrel finishing.
Dark Arts has gotten a buzz and stands out from the others because of its innovative use of rare, exotic woods to finish its whiskeys. Don't miss this opportunity to try one of these numbered bottles.
Barely Legal Bourbon – By no means underage, this 8 YO bottle of liquid gold has the bare minimum of 51% corn to be called Bourbon with the highest Rye content, 49% of any. Each batch of only 3 barrels, about 700 bottles, will be around 57% abv. Decadent, spicy, and dripping with caramel, This is any whiskey aficionado's newest go-to dram.
Regular $86 Sale $78
French Oak Staves Bourbon 54% - France’s small, highly regarded Jupilles Forest has long been known for its outstanding, tight-grained Limousin oaks. In the past, it was available only to fine French winemakers, but Dark Arts got a small portion for toasting and cask finishing this high-proof, high-rye Bourbon, which is aged at least 6 years. This regal oak gives a sweet, warm spiciness that enhances enchanting red berry, dark honey, and fine tannins. A new experience for any Bourbon enthusiast. Regular $86 Sale $78
Toasted Mizunara Bourbon- The addition of rare Japanese wood transmutes this finely crafted Kentucky Bourbon into perfection. Finished with staves of the fabled Mizunara oak, this whiskey delivers a creamy, complex profile brimming with rich, layered notes of sandalwood, toasted coconut, gingersnap, and warm vanilla. The Mizunara is not only a house favorite but also a customer favorite, rivaled only in quality by its huge value.
Regular $59.99 Sale $54
Amburana Rye 54% 7.5 YO- Amburana, Brazilian Oak" has long been used to age that country’s signature Cachaca but is new to our shores. Dark Arts uses a special toasting treatment to coax an undeniably cinnamon-forward profile, complementing the rich spice of malted and unmalted Rye grain. This unique Rye Whiskey tastes like no other on the market now. Regular $86 Sale $78
Empyrean White and Red Port Bourbon: The Empyrean is a union of bourbon aged in both red port and white port casks. A 7.5 year old, Empyrean is finished separately and blended in secret to create a whiskey of uncommon depth and intensity. One brings bright fruit and floral light; the other, deep sweetness and shadows. Together, they smolder. Regular $105, Pre-order $95
