Arette Tequila
Tequila with History and Tradition

The Orendain family has run the El Llano distillery for 120 years, all that time, honoring both traditional tequila and a heroic Olympian horse in the their Arette line of tequilas. The Arette line has both a traditional classico style for everyday drinking and the superior sipping style of the Suave line. Beyond the Suave, they also produce smaller batch Extra Anejos.
Arette was named for the Olympic horse that won two gold medals in 1948. Though blind in one eye, Arette took home two gold medals and a bronze.
Clasico
Blanco
The range starts with the blanco, a versatile spirit deal for mixing in premium margaritas or sipping neat on the rocks.
Notes: The nose starts with fresh cooked agave, crisp citrus, and vibrant pepper with earthy minerality. The pallet is clean, herbal, and fruit-forward with prominent sweet agave, lime zest, and a mildly warm finish.
Regular $28, Sale $24
Reposado
Aged for up to six months, the reposado adds depth and range to any cocktail or margarita. A step above the blanco, reposado adds an extra layer when sipped neat or over ice.
Notes: The nose starts with bright cooked agave, earthy grassiness, vanilla, caramel, and gives way to hints pepper and mint. Flavors of butterscotch, sweet cooked agave, light oak, and baking spices are surrounded by a creamy, oily mouthfeel.
Regular $32, Sale $2
Suave
Suave Blanco
Every aspect of the blanco classico is refined for smoother and softer flavors that create a light sipper, perfect over ice.
Regular $56, Sale $50
Suave Reposado
A clean and enhanced version of the classico, the eleven months in bourbon barrels shows the quality in depth as you linger with each sip.
Notes: Cooked agave, tropical fruits, light vanilla, and soft pepper drift to the nose. Butterscotch, warm oak, cinnamon, mint, and ripe apple play on the tongue with a toasty and dry finish that linger as silky spices appear at the edge.
Regular $66, Sale $59
Suave Anejo
Aged in bourbon for up to twenty months, the bourbon barrel influence shows through, mellowing and subduing the agave into to the background. This dram drinks more like a bourbon, perfect for sipping neat.
Notes: The nose starts with oak influenced notes of vanilla, caramel, and dark fruit with the cooked age on the fringe. The barrel flavors almost eclipse the agave, dark fruit, cinnamon, and bourbon sweetness throughout with the agave coming in subtlety just beyond the edges.
Regular $94, Sale $84
