2017 Bodegas Conde Valdemar Rioja Reserva
Historic Quality Persists
July 1, 2021
Bodegas Conde Valdemar Rioja is all about family. It was founded in 1889 in the beautiful village of Oyon by Joaquin Martinez Bujanda. Today it is run by his great-grandson Jesus and his two children Jesus and Ana. The family is confident in the future. Their wine will not go out of fashion because quality persists, and excellence is always appreciated. The family always passes its classic philosophy on to the next generation.
The 2012 Bodegas Conde Valdemar Rioja Reserva expresses all of this. They have a new importer now, and we can make this special introductory offer. This classic Rioja is all from estate old-vine vineyards. It mostly Tempranillo with some Garnacha and Mazuela. The key here is balance and complexity with classic Rioja aromas and flavors. This is a wine with a deep center and velvety texture.
We are pleased to have Bodegas Conde Valdemar again. It has always been and continues to be a great value.
