2015 Fratelli Alessandria Barolo San Lorenzo + 2015 Frratelli Alessandria Barolo Gramolere
The Family Who Made the First Great Barolo
January 17, 2021

Fratelli Alessandria is in the Barolo commune of Verduno. They were winning awards for their Barolo as far back as 1843. They are still owned and operated by the same family and still produce stellar Barolos. This offer is for the 2015 Fratelli Alessandris Barolo San Lorenzo and the 2015 Fratelli Alessandria Barolo Gramolere. The San Lorenzo vineyard is in Verduno and the wine is aromatic, refined and polished. The Gramolere vineyard is in Monforte and gives a more powerful style.
We held back a few cases of each of these to give you a chance to get some of thee with a little head start on age. We knew a couple of years ago that these wines were going to wildly increase in demand, which they have. Fratelli Alessandria’s most famous neighbor is Fabio Alessandria at the Burlotto estate and he started getting ridiculous press years ago. Now the same thing is happening to Fratelli Alessandria. These are all traditional wines with a great sense of and respect for history.
