Best Price in the Country: 2013 Boroli Barolo Villero
Total, Constant, Uncompromising Quality
July 7, 2020
The Boroli family have been very successful entrepreneurs in Piedmont since the crusades. In the 90’s Silvano and Elena Boroli decided to acquire a prime estate in Barolo. Now their son Achille runs it and grows and bottles some of the greatest Cru Barolo from anyone.
The estate sits on top of the Villero hill in Castiglione Falleto. Achille takes serious care of his vineyards. Yields are kept much lower than what is allowed. The winemaking takes place now in a new cellar designed by his brother, architect Guido Boroli. It is quite a spectacle, combining tradition and great innovation. Our good friend Beppe Caviola consults for Achille.
2013 Boroli Barolo Villero combines power and elegance in a spectacular way. Today we have an amazing offer for this great wine.
2013 Boroli Barolo Villero: Deep ruby, garnet hints. Cherry plum and forest fruit with bramble and Asian spice and hints of oak. Broad elegant and powerful on the palate. Superb finish with silky tannins. Outstanding Regular 168/bottle. Now 119/bottle (lowest price in the country)
Even better: Special six pack for $594 (99/bottle)
