Renato Vezza and partner Elisa Antonioni own a small estate in the village of Priocca in Piedmont’s Roero. They produce wines with energy and emotional signatures. They share an intuition for communicating with the vines.
Now they have released a new project called Rebellious Nature. In this case they produce a wine from two different like minded wineries. The 2020 Bricco Ernesto Rebellious Nature is a blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera from two Roero sites. It is very well structured with an amazing combination of aromatics.
The 2021 Bricco Ernesto Rebellious Nature is different,a blend of Sangiovese and Nebbiolo. a collaboration between Renato and Elisa in Piedmont and our customer favorite, Chiara Condello in Romagna. Those of you who have discovered Chiara’s Sangiovese di Predappio and know how amazing her wines are. As it breaths this wine shows a unique and seductive purity.
We feel that these age worthy and serious wines are complex, unique, and incredible values. We suggest having both wines on the table for an incredible side by side comparison. Production of each of these wines is only 330 cases.
